The internet is today the largest repository of information freedom — for all users, and especially for people with disabilities. Believing that every person deserves the right to live with equality, dignity, comfort, and independence, we place the highest importance on digital accessibility and invest significant resources to ensure a comfortable and equal browsing experience for all users.
This website meets the requirements of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 5773–2013.
Accessibility adjustments were made in accordance with:
Israeli Standard SI 5568 for Web Content Accessibility, at Level AA
The international WCAG 2.0 document
The site includes a semantic structure adapted for assistive technologies and supports full keyboard navigation — including arrow keys, Enter, and Esc to exit menus and windows.
For an optimal browsing experience with a screen reader, we recommend using the latest version of NVDA. Browsing in accessibility mode is recommended in Google Chrome.
The software supports the following browsers (subject to manufacturer conditions): Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera.
An accessible accessibility menu is embedded on the site. Clicking it opens the accessibility options; after making a selection, please wait for the page to load.
The accessibility menu includes the following options:
Keyboard navigation — operating the site using the keyboard only

Address: David Tower Hotel, 8 King David Street, Netanya
The hotel grounds include several parking spaces designated for holders of a disability parking permit. In the hotel’s covered and enclosed parking lot on level minus 2, there are 2 accessible parking spaces for people with disabilities (marked in blue on the floor), which are wide enough to also allow the use of a side lift for removing an electric wheelchair alongside the vehicle. There are also 2 external disabled parking spaces located south of the parking lot, immediately to the right after passing the barrier of the King David 8 residential building. These spaces are intended for tall or oversized vehicles transporting people with mobility disabilities. There is no need to coordinate use of the internal parking lot, however we do not reserve spaces and use of the parking lot is on a first-come, first-served basis — this applies to the disabled parking spaces as well. However, for use of the external parking spaces, arrival must be coordinated in advance so that we can arrange for the parking barrier to be opened ahead of time. Coordination should be done with the hotel reception, available 24/7 at 09-3730013, extension 1, sub-extension 2.
It is possible to enter directly from level minus 2 in a wheelchair via the guest elevator, which leads to the reception, rooms, and the hotel spa. Alternatively, entry is also available through the main entrance via one of the 2 doors adjacent to the revolving door entrance.
Both the hotel and the spa have an accessible reception desk adapted in height for wheelchair use. Both reception desks also have a hearing assistance system intended for people with hearing disabilities who use hearing aids.
Accessible restrooms are located at the entrance to the restaurant and are clearly marked from the hotel’s reception area. The hotel spa also has accessible restrooms and a shower designed for wheelchair use. These facilities are located near the sauna beside the pool.
The 2 guest elevators are adapted for wheelchair use, and the elevator lobby is also marked with floor tactile strips designed to indicate the elevator area for people with visual impairments. Additionally, on every floor, the marble door frame at the elevator entrance has a raised tactile floor number on the right side, allowing floor identification by touch. The elevator also provides a vocal announcement in Hebrew of the current floor.
These are available in several locations throughout the hotel: at the hotel reception desk, at the spa reception desk, at the hotel bar, and at the restaurant entrance at the host station. These aids are used by people with hearing disabilities who use hearing aids.
The hotel spa has an indoor pool (maximum of 28°C) with a special pool lift to lower a person with a disability into the water. However, arrival must be coordinated in advance so that we can prepare the lift ahead of time, as 2 people are required for safe entry into the water. There is also an accessible restroom, shower, and changing room designed for people with disabilities that accommodates wheelchair use. The spa also has an accessible Turkish hammam for wheelchair users, as well as 2 accessible treatment rooms.
The hotel restaurant is located on the ground floor opposite the reception and is accessible by wheelchair. If needed and upon request, we have special chairs with armrests in the restaurant that allow a wheelchair user to transfer to a regular chair during the meal if they wish.
Meals are served buffet-style, however the waiting staff is available to assist with serving food from the buffet.
The hotel switchboard, 09-3730013, is active 24/7. You may also send an email to reception@davidtower.co.il.
The hotel has 2 Superior City View rooms suitable for wheelchair use, with the bathroom also adapted for wheelchair access. These rooms must be reserved and booked in advance, especially during summer months, holidays, and weekends. A single sofa bed can be added to these rooms for an accompanying person’s overnight stay, or alternatively an adjoining Classic room can be booked for the companion (at an additional charge).
Entry for pets is generally prohibited, with the exception of guide dogs for the blind and people with severe visual impairments. We ask that arrival be coordinated in advance so that we can prepare a water and food bowl for the guide dog.
The hotel staff, some of whom have completed an accessible service workshop, are at your service for any request for assistance that will make your stay with us more comfortable. For any question or request, please contact us in advance by phone or email.
We will be happy to assist in every way we can.
